Welcome to the Bridgwater Netball Club Website
Bridgwater Netball Club goes from strength to strength, and our passion for the game of Netball has been recognised with the Silver CAPS and Clubmark Awards.
2011/12 Season sees the club with 3 teams in the Somerset Premier Division, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. 1 Team in the 1st Division, Venus. 1 Team in the 2nd Division, Mars and 1 Team in the 3rd Division, Mercury.
The Club is committed to nurturing talent from the junior teams through to the senior squads. The Under 16 training session provides this vehicle as well as preparation for both the Somerset and South West Regional Tournaments.
The club has elected a forward thinking and highly motivated committee which will continue to guide the club in its continued development. The club will however only thrive with the continued support of all its members both on and off the court.
As a club we play hard on the court but there is also plenty of playtime off the court with our active social calendar for both club members and interested parties.

 Congratulations to Sammy Kemmish for being selected for the British Colleges Team
Goal Attack Sammy Kemmish shone at the national trials in Shropshire just before Christmas to be selected into the British Colleges Team.
Final trials were held over a weekend with 6 hours of fitness and skills on the saturday and 5 hours of match play on the sunday.
Competition was tough as there were four other Goal Attacks vying for an elusive spot on the squad, but Sammy shone through.
Sammy will now join the 17 strong squad to take on Scotland's Under 19's on 20 January in Edinburgh.

 Congratulations to Julie McClean and Sally Haysham who recently qualified as level B Umpires. also congratulations to Hannah Symes for passing her C Award and Dawn Gardener for passing her Beginners Award.

 Christmas Raffle
Congratulations to all the lucky winners. Well Done to everyone who sold and returned their tickets and monies. And a massive thank you to Hazel Hucker for organising the whole raffle which raised £300 for club funds.

Dear Umpires,
The Regional Round of the National Schools Championships for U14'S, U16'S & U19'S takes place on Saturday 28 January 2012 from
1015 - 1515 at the Sir David English Centre in Bournemouth.
This is a fantastic umpiring opportunity for Regional approved 'C' awards and above and is especially valuable to those approved 'C' awards and newly passed 'B' awards who have yet to cut their teeth at Regional League level.
